So I am having a crazy summer watching six kids under the age of seven. Lunch is starting to get boring. I either make chicken nuggets, corn dogs, mac and cheese, sandwiches and pizza. I am drawing a blank at what else I could possibly make. I got one idea from a restaurant, it was called pb and j soldiers and they grilled the sandwich. It kinda sounds yummy but still a sandwich. I really need help with ideas so if you have any good recipes that kids love, I would love to have them! thanks
I am also thinking of posting tips that I discover cause I love to see that on other blogs. So here is my first tip:
#1 I have real hardwood floors and I would clean them with my swiffer jet all the time. It's great and easy and won't ruin the floors but after awhile I noticed that it leaves a residue and my floors never looked super clean. So I found this tip, I use 1 gallon of warm water to 1/2 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and it makes my floors look brand new. I also like this idea cause a large container of Apple Cider Vinegar is pretty cheap and I love saving money!

Going to the chapel (temple)
Tomorrow we head down to Utah for the big Wedding event! I am so excited. There is going to be a lot going on but I can't wait. There is a bachelorette party and going to get manicures and pedicures and family dinner and then the recpetion is of course one big party. There is going to be dancing and I even got a babysitter for my kids so that me and rustin can enjoy it. I am so happy for Melissa and I know that this is going to be a special weekend for her. See ya next week!

Family

This is a picture of my grandma and grandpa when they were dating. I love it and think they are so cute. My dear grandmother passed away in December of 07. I know we all really miss her but we had an amazing weekend. My grandpa went to the temple for the first time and was sealed to my grandma for time and all eternity. Then all there children that were worthy, including my mother, were sealed to them. I know that I will see my grandma again and how grateful I am for the knowledge that I have and what it means to be a member of the church. I am so glad that I went down- I left Rustin and the kids home so it was a fun weekend without having to run after kids. I have funny stories and a shocking picture that I will post later this week!

Happy Birthday

I just want to say Happy Birthday to the most wonderful man in my life. I am so lucky that I met him and that we fell in love. I really never thought about Rustin in a romantic sense when I was younger before we ever dated but the lord knew that he was exactly what I needed and wanted and somehow changed the way I was thinking. He is an amazing husband and father and will do anything for his family.
I can't believe that he is 29. We aren't celebrating really big but are going to see the movie Up! Hunter is probably more excited but for Rustin that makes it worth it to see his son excited for daddy's birthday. Just another reason why I love him so much. I can't wait for many more birthdays with you!

Yoga

I just got back from a yoga session that was 90 minutes long! It was the most intense and relaxing thing I have done in awhile. Did I mention that the room is about 105 degrees! I have never sweated so much, my clothes were drenched. Supposedly you burn like 900 calories and it kicks up your metabolism for 24 hours. I really did like it but it was super hard. Everyone was barley dressed and I was in my workout capris and a t shirt, felt just a little overdressed! I ended up being by a guy in really tiny shorts in all sorts of poses. yuck. If anyone wants to come with me I am going next Saturday at 9 am!

I think he is SMRT!

My little man can write his name! Yes there is an extra line on the E but I am still proud. I am sure most kids write their names before they are 4 1/2 but for some reason I always under estimated what Hunter could do. He was such a late talker and didn't really start to communicate with me till after he was three. So sadly I didn't think that he could and never sat down with him and tried to teach him. I am a horrible mother!! Thankfully we are going to school and he is doing great and is actually quite smart. He is such a good boy. He is obsessed with dinosaurs right now. He kept wanting to watch Jurassic Park but kept getting scared so I had to finally ban that movie. So daddy went and bought a couple of the Land Before Times movies. Nothing else new is going on, just working hard and then sleeping hard. Sadly I had to work 10 hours on Thursday and Friday and my house is trashed but I have no energy to do anything. All I want to do is veg! We also now have church at 8:30 so I don't get to sleep in even on Sundays. Sorry I am being a pooper! Here are some pictures of Hunter working hard on his name.
By the way I meant to spell smart that way in my title- kudos to anyone who knows what show it is from?
